• For use over traditional chalk gesso ground.
• Bole needs to be applied with rabbit skin glue solution.
• The pale malachite bole forms an icy green substrate for any type of water gilding work.
• Malachite perfectly offsets silver and white gold, but is also suitable with any karat of gold leaf.
• When burnished, the rich creamy bole gives the gold leaf a beautiful highly reflective luster.
