Classic French Yellow Clay Bole for Water Gilding.
Rich orange brownish yellow shade similar to French red clay bole prior to the 1960s.
Volume – 100 ml

Notes:

• Handcrafted by Sinopia.
• For use over traditional chalk gesso ground.
• Bole needs to be applied with rabbit skin glue solution.
• The yellow color beneath the gold leaf enhances the leaf.
• When burnished, the rich creamy bole gives the gold leaf a lustrous shine.
