• Handcrafted by Sinopia.
• For use over traditional chalk gesso ground.
• Bole needs to be applied with rabbit skin glue solution.
• The red color beneath the gold leaf reads through the leaf.
• Bordeaux Red Bole warms up yellow gold and creates deep rich red voids between the leaf.
• When burnished, the rich creamy bole gives the gold leaf a beautiful highly reflective luster.
