• For use over traditional chalk gesso ground.
• Bole needs to be applied with rabbit skin glue solution.
• Black Bole is usually used under Silver Leaf or White Gold.
• The stark contrasting black creates a deep surface to maximize the cool nature of the Silver Leaf and White Gold.
• When burnished, the rich creamy bole gives the leaf a lustrous shine.
